Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United have made an amazing comeback this year to 3rd position, with the help of some very expensive players, and have put their shocking start behind them. But it may surprise some people to find out what van Gaal is planning next. Scroll down to read more.
Gareth Bale Return
The Welsh international has been made aware of United’s interest to sign him for a record amount of money, or so says Sunday Express. Bale and his family reportedly wouldn’t mind a move back to their home country, England. The interesting thing is that United actually offered Spurs a larger sum than Madrid when Gareth was moving from the club, but they were already too far into the process. Could we see a shocking Gareth Bale return to the Prem?
Radamel Falcao EXIT
Falcao has stunned everyone yet again with a rumour linking him to shock move to Juventus in January. The Turin club desperately wants to boost their attack, the Colombian being number 1 on their list. Falcao has a contract with AS Monaco until 2018 but if Juve really are wanting Radamel as much as the Italian papers report then they will activate his buyout clause and make him theirs.
Mats Hummels
Borussia Dortmund are going to allow captain Mats Hummels to leave the club for Manchester United in the January transfer window. Dortmund are far from happy letting him go as they sit in a horrible position in the Bundesliga, but there will be no stopping Man U with a £47 million bid. However, the move will allow Jürgen Klopp to assess his squad and cover his losses, especially in the defence.
Other Gossip
To finish of United’s possible Massive spending is the unlikely trio Enzo Perez and Nicolas Gaitan from Benfica, and Roma’s Kevin Strootman. Van Gaal would be willing to spend another huge sum of £80 million on them. If he does indeed go through with all these transfers then United will be significantly less rich then they were last season.
