Reminiscing: Roberto Carlos Free-kick

In 1997 France hosted a round-robin competition with four teams; England, Brasil, Italy and of course France. It was called the Tournoi de France or ‘Tournament of France’. In the 21st minute of the opening game (Brasil vs France) legendary Brazilian Roberto Carlos scored and AMAZING free-kick. He hit the shot with the outside of his left foot, causing it to bend so much that a ball boy on the sideline ducked. The shot was so great that keeper Fabien Barthez just stayed still. This is truly on of the best ever goals.
